- The Sinstitute of Hip Hop Arts (SOHHA) Is over a weeks worth of workshops dedicated to the artforms that make up Hip Hop culture as we know it. SoHHA will take place at The Junction in Cambridge from 1st - 9th April, 2010. It follows on/replaces Cambridge Hip Hop Week which SIN Cru ran for 10 years, with guest artists such as Ken Swift & 7Gems(Nako & Mr.Loose), Jonzi D, Ty, Jehst, Pervez, Robert Hylton, DJ First Rate, DJ MK, Flo Mo Bgirls Taya & AT.... The first five days of SoHHA will be a series of Masterclass lead by Kwik Step & Pervez, for higher level Bboys/Bgirls based on the Hip Hop tradition of Battling. This will be followed by five days of activities & workshops in all areas of Hip Hop. There will be a special Hip Hop Tots strand for young children (0-5 years old) which will be an introduction to movement and dance. The Battle theme will be carried on throughout the week, getting dancers ready for Urban SINfonie at the end of the week. Urban SINfonie, is showcase for SoHHAs participants to perform or display their work from the week. Then its battle time for participants & professional Bboys/Bgirls & Poppers!
